There are 8 areas in which the CAI of Lucca operates: hiking, mountaineering, climbing, ski mountaineering, speleology, canyoning, mountain biking and educational recreational activities for the little ones.

The town of Sassi in the Garfagnana was chosen not only by virtue of its privileged geographical position facing the Panie mountain group, but also and above all for the welcome and enthusiasm shown by the inhabitants towards the initiative.

The 8Sassi project is therefore the result of the union of two passions: ours which finds a second home in the mountains and that of the inhabitants who live in the same mountain every day.
