Italian Women’s Street Cycling Championships Lucca 2024 🇮🇹

The Italian Youth Road Championships for female beginners and students will take place on Saturday 6 July. The important cycling event, which will involve the best athletes in Italian cycling, aged 13 to 16, is coming to Lucca.

3 races will take place, the starting and finishing point will be at Pallezzetto dello Sport. At 9am the first year debutants will start and will face a 40km route with a difference in altitude towards the end of the race. At 11.15 the second year rookies will start and then there will be the students' race.

The route will wind through the streets of Lucca with a length of 40.8 kilometers for first-year debutants, 53.5 kilometers for second-year debutants and 73.5 kilometers for students. The most demanding challenge of the route will be the Mountain Grand Prix on the Foreste climb.

The finale will always be at Palatagliate. A village and a hospitality area will be set up in the arrival area to allow people to watch the race in comfort.
