Anna Maria Fabriano 100 years old last June is the ’hidden painter’ who debuts to the public with a very large exposition of her work on Sunday November 10th at 5pm at the Palazzo delle Exposizioni in Piazza San Martino in Lucca.
Student of the Roman painter Carlo Socates, Anna Maria Fabriani has developed within the domestic walls an original path with a high quality artistic production, known and appreciated only by the small circle of friends, artists and intellectuals who were lucky enough to know her. After the exhibition at Palazzo Merulana in Rome last September the paintings arrive in LUcca in an even more extensive and articulated path to reveal a visual diary and a cultured synthetic look capable of returning a reality that speaks intensely about figurative currents of the Italian 19th Century.
Inauguration: Sunday September 10th at 5pm
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 3pm-7pm
