A real opera for children, with orchestra and singers, with the real music of Puccini and a dramaturgical reworking that accompanies the discovery of Turandot's enigmas. To make participation in the show fascinating and engaging, there are real interactive moments with the stage: the children who attend the theatre will in fact be asked to sing in chorus together with the artists of the opera at times (following the surtitles, as in a “karaoke” of opera). Turandot is a fairy tale that takes us to discover a magical and grandiose China, where - among enigmas to be solved, oriental princes, gongs of destiny, executioners and sumptuous imperial palaces - the story of the Princess with the Ice Heart comes to life. Director Andrea Bernard chooses a museum as the setting for the story, where among the visitors there are also the young Calaf, with his father Timur and Liù. The mysterious world of Turandot materializes and reverberates among statues, fine ceramics, traditional costumes and period prints. The reading of an ancient manuscript animates the museum's works of art and visitors are catapulted into the enigmas of Princess Turandot, who - with the help of Ping, Pong and Pang, three statues of the terracotta army - is only waiting for find true love and be remembered forever. The show is included in the OPERA DOMANI project which includes a teacher training course managed by As.Li.Co. and a classroom work program for the active involvement of the classes participating in the project. However, the show is also designed for children who have not followed the specific educational path, therefore the viewing of the performances is open to every class of primary and lower secondary schools, even if they have not carried out the preparatory activities in class.
