Trofeo Città di Lucca

Not even the Giro d'Italia, with its stage arrival in Lucca last May, had the privilege of setting its arrival on the avenue of the famous Walls of Lucca, the most beautiful place in Italy for cycling. The 53rd City of Lucca Trophy - Remembering Giacomo Puccini will end here, the national competition for elites and under 23s scheduled for Sunday 29 September.

Climbing to the national race rank increases the mileage which will be 142 and a half km with a couple of flat laps at the start, and then the three 40 kilometer laps with the climb of Monte Pitoro from the Massarosa side as well as San Martino in Vignale- Climb of the Forests, last passage 13 km from the finish line of the "Mura".

The start will be at midday, preceded by the presentation of the teams which will take place in front of the Caffè delle Mura and the race will enjoy the patronage of the Tuscany Region, the Province of Lucca and the Municipality. The commitment and work of the Lucchese Cycling Union, the efforts of its managers and the volunteer group, deserve to be supported by those who love sport, cycling and the city. MORE INFO
