“Roads of no return” is a photographic project that addresses the topic of road accidents, the main cause of death among young people aged 18-24 in Europe. Made over 15 years, it was exhibited in 2019 at the International Center of Photography in Palermo. The black and white images, intense and respectful, tell of rites of passage, destroyed cars, empty streets and personal objects that humanize the victims. Also published as a book by Punto Stampe, the project aims to raise young people's awareness of the consequences of accidents and the value of life, underlining the irreversibility of these tragedies.
