Passo Duo has two motives: the desire to dance more than my previous creations, to seek movement in dynamics and space while trusting the body, and the desire to direct a group for the first time. Passo Duo revolves around two macro issues: on the one hand the relationship between reality and fiction, the limit between the inside and outside of stage writing, between score and unexpected events; on the other, the relationship, the relationship between the individual and the community. We play with theatrical fiction and with the unexpected and continuous variation of the meaning: the unexpected deviation of perception is a component of the theatrical game and in fact, even life presents us with the continuous transformation of the meaning of what we encounter, asking us for elasticity, critical ability and training in doubt and questioning.”
