In Massarosa (LU), from 18 to 28 July, the Ranocchiocciola gastronomic festival will be held in the Sterpeti park. A highly anticipated event in the town, the Rassegna della Ranocchiocciola offers two typical local dishes: the frog and the snail. It is not surprising that they were traditionally two very popular dishes, given the high presence of these two animals in the area of ​​Lake Massaciuccoli from which Massarosa is only a few kilometers away. Various specialties of Versilia cuisine will also be present on the menu. The food stands, set up in the Sterpeti Park, are open every evening for dinner.
