The countdown has begun for the new edition, the 38th, of the Regatalonga, the sailing "in memory of the victims of 29 June 2009" scheduled for Sunday 23 June in the waters off the coast between Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, surrounded by the evocative setting of the Apuan Alps, organized as always by the Versilia Nautical Club and the Italian Naval League section. of Viareggio with the collaboration of Il Mondo che Diritti Onlus on an idea from the past President of the Rotaract Club Viareggio Versilia Arianna Baldini, Alla, the proceeds of which will go entirely to the "Il mondo che massimo" Association, all types of boats can participate in the event: the crew members must all be registered with the FIV (ordinary or Diporto Velico and for minors ScuolaVela for all recreational activities).

The starting procedure will be unique and will begin at 1 pm, while the maximum is set at four hours. The sailing trips will take place in the stretch of sea in front of the coast between the North pier of Viareggio and the pier of Marina di Pietrasanta. More precisely, the route will be divided from the starting line located approximately 06 minutes north of the north pier of Viareggio to a dinghy with a special flag located approximately 03 minutes abeam the pier of Marina di Pietrasanta and back for a total of approximately 7 minutes .
The Organizing Committee will draw up a ranking once all the competitors have passed. Once the maximum time has expired, passing the buoy at Marina di Pietrasanta will be taken into consideration. The boats can be hosted free of charge at the moorings of the Organizing Club for the duration of the event and for a period before and after to be agreed with the CO itself. There will be no award ceremony.
