Because, in those 70s, the happy concomitance of economic success, technological development, euphoric, colorful, idealism managed to express a musical and textual writing rich in quotations, refined and dreamy, linked to Art and Myth, imbued of dreams and magic; inspired by Nature, by Man, respectful of others, rebellious and disciplined at the same time.

Many of those values ​​would perhaps be useful to ferry into our superficial, prevaricating and fragile time.

The idea of ​​a Progressive Festival is to give us six hours of exciting music, but also, more ambitiously, to suggest, by supporting it, a possible adherence to that lifestyle, to that way of feeling. Indeed, after this first pilot edition, local schools and artists will be involved in the creation of works inspired by Progressive themes and suggestions, for exhibitions, mapping, installations, meetings and exchanges between enthusiasts, with the aim of building a Reference center for progressive music in Italy
