With spring comes the APERITIF CONCERTS, special musical events scheduled at the Teatro San Girolamo, created by the Teatro del Giglio in collaboration with the "L. Boccherini" Conservatory of music. Sunday 14 April at 11.00 a special appointment between music and words dedicated to Pia Pera, writer, Slavist, translator of refined sensitivity and intelligence, who passed away in Lucca, her city of origin, eight years ago. The event, conceived by Margherita Loy and created in collaboration with Feltrinelli Librerie, is entitled "Many enchanting stars", and involves illustrious names from the Italian cultural panorama: Lara Ricci (journalist, curates the literature and poetry page of "Domenica" of Il Sole 24 Ore), Edoardo Albinati (writer), Francesca D'Aloja (actress and writer), Francesca Caminoli (writer), Alba Donati (poet, critic, bookseller, former president of the Literary Scientific Cabinet G. P. Vieusseux) and Emanuela Rosa -Clot (journalist, currently director of the magazines Gardenia and Bell'Italia). Guitarist Luca Micheletto is entrusted with the musical part of the event, with the performance of Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky in the arrangement for solo guitar by Kazuhito Yamashita (1961-).
Recital for solo piano on Sunday 21 April at 11.30 am with Pierpaolo Buggiani, who will engage in a program entirely dedicated to music by Ludwig van Beethoven (Sonata n.23 in F minor Op.57 “Appassionata”) and Fryderyk Chopin (24 Preludes Op .28).
Sunday 5 May at 11.30 am, is dedicated to "The evolution of the flute language in the morceau de concours of the National Superior Conservatory of Paris", and features the flautist Natalia Ulloa Rodriguez Monserrat and the pianist Elia Faccini. On the program, music by Jules Demersseman, Gabriel Fauré, Louis Ganne, Philippe Gaubert, Claude-Paul Taffanel, Alfredo Casella, Henri Dutilleux and Olivier Messiaen.
