In the year in which the spotlight of an international film production has turned on Lucca by hosting the filming of Peter Greenaway's film, the Walls of Lucca are instead hosting a major exhibition which places cinema and TV on a pedestal and the various protagonists who have lived in Lucca over the last seventy years with free entry which will be inaugurated at 6pm Friday 10 May.
An exceptional and extraordinary opportunity to admire splendid images. The exhibition will in fact consist of around 50 panels reproducing photographs from the historical archive of Alcide photos complete with shots of the various sets, actresses and actors during the filming of the films or captured by the precise lens of Alcide, Mimmo and Claudio Tosi during a moment to relax between one shot and another. At the same time, about fifteen paper posters of the films of the period in question will be on display, such as "La provinciale" and "Giovani mariti" or "Il marchese del Grillo" and kindly made available by a great enthusiast and collector such as Alessandro Orsucci .
The exhibition will be hosted at the Casermetta dei Balestrieri San Pietro on the urban walls starting from Friday 10 May until Sunday 19 May (except for Sunday 12) from 5pm to 7pm and after dinner from 9pm to 11pm and will be accessible for free and without the need for reservation. MORE INFO
