Made In Italy Exhibition Free Guided Tour

The Ragghianti Foundation, on the occasion of the second National Made in Italy Day promoted by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, is offering two free guided tours of the exhibition “Made in Italy. Destination America 1945-1954” scheduled for Tuesday 15 April at 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm.

To participate, you must book by Monday 14 April (by phone at 0583 467205 or by email atinfo@fondazioneragghianti.it ), show up fifteen minutes before the visit and purchase the entrance ticket (full price 8 euros, reduced 5 euros, free for some categories).

The exhibition, inaugurated on Friday 4 April, documents the evolution of Italian artistic, artisanal and industrial production in the years immediately following the Second World War, highlighting the importance of the relationship with the United States in encouraging the development and promotion of “designed and made in Italy”. From Venini glass to the ceramics of Gio Ponti and Lucio Fontana, passing through the footwear of Salvatore Ferragamo, the exhibition recounts, with a strong interdisciplinary approach, a period of great creative ferment and international revival through paintings, sculptures and graphics, objects of applied art and design, fashion accessories, installation drawings, products and documentation.
