Gladiator 2 directed by Ridley Scott the sequel to the famous 2000 film Gladiator with Russell Crowe.

The second chapter will be set about 30 years after the first and features Lucius (Paul Mescal), son of Lucilla and nephew of Commodus, saved by Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe) at the end of the first film.

Years after witnessing the tragic death of the venerated hero Maximus at the hands of his evil uncle, Lucius finds himself forced to fight in the Colosseum after his homeland is conquered by two tyrannical emperors, who now rule Rome: Caracalla and Geta (Joseph Quinn and Fred Hechinger). With his heart burning with anger and the fate of the Empire hanging by a thread, Lucius must face dangers and enemies, rediscovering in his past the strength and honor necessary to bring the glory of Rome back to its people.
