Good Morning Cinema at Cinema Centrale presents Eden, the film directed by Ron Howard, takes place in the Galapagos where a group of people have settled to escape civilization.
Dr. Friedrich Ritter and his wife Dora Strauch (Jude Law and Vanessa Kirby), two idealistic Europeans, decide to flee Germany in 1929, they also deny bourgeois values, convinced that they are destroying the true nature of humanity. The two move to an uninhabited island of Floreana, in the Galapagos archipelago, but the solitude they have sought so much in a corner, at the time, so remote will not last long. The first to reach them are Margaret and Heinz Wittmer (Sydney Sweeney and Daniel Brühl), serious and capable colonists, followed by Baroness Eloise Bosquet de Wagner Wehrhorn (Ana de Armas) accompanied by her two lovers, an Ecuadorian servant and with the intention of opening a luxury hotel on the island. This is how several people, united by a common purpose, share the same piece of land to find primitive contact with nature and rediscover the meaning of life. The constant bad weather, the wildlife and the total lack of comfort and civilization on the island will make the group's coexistence very problematic, yet the greatest danger will be that of coexisting with desperate neighbors who are ready to do anything to assert themselves. When a murder is committed, a survival instinct will be triggered in the group that will lead the protagonists to have tragicomic behaviors. MORE INFO MOVIE TRAILER
