The fourth edition of the "Lucca in Mente" festival is approaching, organized by the BRF Foundation - Institute for Research in Psychiatry and Neuroscience, dedicated to the world of the brain and mental health. From 15 to 19 May, the Tuscan public will be able to participate in numerous events with internationally renowned writers, journalists and researchers.

As usual, the BRF Foundation, with the patronage of the Education Authority of Lucca and Massa Carrara and of the Education Office of the Tuscany Region, will also involve schools this year with a competition dedicated to pupils from primary and secondary schools in the region. «The objective of the competition – explains the president of the Foundation, Professor Armando Piccinni – is to raise awareness of the young generations on the importance of facing their emotions and fragilities without prejudices and fears, in a very complicated period like the one we are experiencing , marked first by the pandemic, then by a conflict in the heart of Europe."
