Lucca Collezionando, the vintage-pop festival dedicated to comics and the worlds of fantasy, returns in spring, on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March at the Polo Fiere di Lucca and invites us to immerse ourselves in the magical atmospheres of the analogue world , in the name of a “slow mood”. The event, organized by Lucca Crea (the company that creates Lucca Comics & Games), in collaboration with the Municipality of Lucca, confirms the formula that has received great acclaim in past editions, giving visitors the opportunity to slow down the daily pace, to reliving the climate of pop culture of the 70s, 80s and 90s, and already announces the first guests of honour.
The vintage-pop festival dedicated to comics and generational passions returns with a series of exceptional guests, including the Disney master Giorgio Cavazzano, Silver dad of Lupo Alberto, Silvia Ziche author of the year, and the master of thrills Carlo Lucarelli. There will be more exhibitors from all over Italy, the lounge area returns with its eighties games room and lots of organized games, in addition to the very curious exhibitions (including those dedicated to Paperinik, to the champion of satire Marilena Nardi, to the 45 rpm cartoons and the magician Sandy of a Thousand Colors).
The poster of the seventh edition is created by Daniele Caluri: a dive into the room of a young man whose passions make up a real puzzle. Previewed during the last Lucca Comics & Games, the poster kicked off the journey towards Collezionando 2024. A special opportunity to meet the sacred monsters of comics and talented young people, purchase rare pieces for your collection, dust off the own arcade skills, warm up the "magic index" for a Subbuteo free kick, play a boardgame or a wargame together with old and new friends of all ages.
Giancarlo Alessandrini, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the great masters of Italian comics, will take part in the Lucca Collezionando weekend. Alessandrini designed Dylan Dog, Tex, Diabolik, but is in fact known primarily as the "graphic creator" of Martin Mystère, of which he has been the main designer and author of all the covers since 1982. Winner of numerous awards, he received the Yellow Kid as best Italian designer in Lucca, at the International Comics Fair.
