On the shortest night of the year, the Mario Tobino Foundation in collaboration with the Circolo Amici della Musica Alfredo Catalani and the Sinfonia music school, organizes a piano concert in memory of the famous pianist Laura Pasqualetti in the historic cloister of the former Maggiano Psychiatric Hospital.

Two young pianists Riccardo Guadagnino (15 years old) and Lorenzo Gorgoni (14 years old), winners of the "Laura Pasqualetti" prize of the third edition of the national piano competition "Città di Lucca" which saw last May, the participation of over 40 talented young musicians, divided into three sections: free, Smim (musical middle schools) and musical high schools.

The two young winners demonstrated interpretative mastery and musical taste, as well as truly exemplary technical mastery. Before the performance, the Tobino Foundation organizes Sorella Follia.
