On Sunday 6 April 2025, TANGO D'AUTORE will arrive with an original and engaging proposal in the centre of Lucca, in the welcoming hall of "Il Pinturicchio". This event, organised by the "Tango Querido" Association in collaboration with "Tango alla Rovescia", will be an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in a journey of music and poetry, where tango meets the words of the great South American writers of the 20th century. The concert combines instrumental and sung pieces, giving new life to the texts of iconic authors such as Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar, Horacio Ferrer and Leónidas Lamborghini. A meeting between the music of Astor Piazzolla, who collaborated with Borges and Ferrer in the 1960s, and the original compositions of the Argentine guitarist and composer Adrián Fioramonti, who set poems by Cortázar, Lamborghini and Borges to music. The musical formation, composed of the same instruments that accompanied Piazzolla in his legendary concerts, a QUINTET composed of masters of great depth in the genre: Adrián Fioramonti on the electric guitar, Darío Polonara on the bandoneón, Danilo Grandi on the double bass, Valerio Giannarelli on the violin and Guido Bottaro on the piano.
