The opera season inaugurates each year the rich programme of the Teatro del Giglio, artistic and cultural reference point and Theatre of Tradition of Lucca, together with prose and dance performances, from classical to contemporary. Teatro del Giglio presents “Giulio Cesare” a musical drama in three acts with libretto by Nicola Francesco Haym from Giulio Cesare in Egitto by Giacomo Francesco Bussani.
