FactoryLab is a new space halfway between a shop and a gallery, where creatives are concentrated, ranging 360° in the world of design, art and contemporary and sustainable craftsmanship. Accessories, jewellery, home decor are just some of the proposals of the new space, curated by the Heyart Association. The craftsmanship proposed at FactoryLab embraces the motto “buy less, choose well, make it last”: Small productions, recycled materials, a culture of sustainability and philosophy of conscious consumption.
In September, a series of workshops will be presented within FactoryLab to introduce some designers and different types of craftsmanship. 👉The workshops and exhibitions will take place every Thursday starting from September 19th.
September 26th 10:30 – 12:30 and 15:00 – 17:00 single shift with lunch break, “Personalized organza flower” by designer Francesca Mocali (70€).
In this workshop we will learn how to create a personalized organza flower to apply on a brooch or a headband. Once the petal module has been designed and the aesthetics of the flower have been decided, it will be personalized in shape and color. It will finally be assembled with a base for a brooch or headband. It will be a suggestive decoration that can be applied on a dress, a bag or on the head!
Francesca Mocali, a teacher in fashion schools in Florence, has always worked in the world of accessories as a designer and maker.
For the last four years she has been working on hats and producing custom hats with millinery techniques.
