It's time for gypsy dances!

Danilo Rossi, historic first viola of La Scala in Milan with the Gipsy Trio (already active with artists of the caliber of Vinicio Capossela, Stefano Bollani, Moni Ovadia, Samuele Bersani and others) in a geographical and cultural journey that crosses the Balkans and authors such as Dvoràk , Brahms and Bartok, reinterpreted in a gypsy, virtuosic and folk key. An ensemble with a thousand facets and extremely versatile, a show with frenetic rhythms, a continuous challenge of notes, a tribute to the great repertoire of the East and an evening you won't be able to sit still in your seats.

“I wanted to understand the Roma world and I was fascinated by the stories of these three gypsies. Because that's what they call each other, in defiance of stereotypes. And today I aim to be elected an honorary gypsy” (Danilo Rossi).

The year that has just begun will in fact be full and significant for the historic Association which, founded on the impulse of Maestro Herbert Handt, continues to fuel a cultural project 60 years after the first concert which has contributed to making Lucca one of the richest cities in music in the Italian panorama.
