Cook Inc. at Mercato del Carmine

  • mercato del carmine (map)

In collaboration with the restaurant “Il Giglio”

An entire day curated by Cook_Inc magazine. dedicated to the theme of universal languages, with food, music, photography, art and ethnobotany. Private event by reservation only on www.cookinc.it

Music is a universal language because wherever it occurs it has a strong ability to bring people together. The same can be said of food, or rather of cooking, understood as the act of cooking together. In fact, it is enough to attend a jam session or participate in a gastronomic event to understand the intensity of these languages that unite instead of separate and give energy by arousing unique emotions and sensations. Music and cooking are artistic expressions that have no boundaries and do not require words to promote dialogue and inclusion. They are universal languages that create relationships. Like music and food, there are many cultural expressions that communicate without using the classic alphabets, including wine, photography and art.

Cook_inc. Festival, in its first edition, wants to decline these languages by inviting experts from different sectors. A professor of ethnobotany and a semiologist will give their point of view on botanical crossbreeding and gastronomic discourse, a photographer will talk about his vision of the world from a frankly original perspective and young beekeepers will fascinate guests with the vibrant dance of bees. A round table with characters who are not at all obvious will look at wine as a means of expression and during the day it will be possible to enjoy the installations of an artist-writer and a photojournalist.

To complete the day, the Gelinaz dinner-performance! NAH BGM NOW organized by the chefs of the Giglio Restaurant with guests from Italy and the world. An eclectic party with all the universal languages!
