Closing Canon in verse will be Iaia Forte , film and theater actress who has worked with directors such as Toni Servillo, Mario Martone and Alfonso Santagata, winner of numerous awards and recognitions and interpreter, among others, of Paolo's "La Grande Bellezza" Sorrento. On Friday 24 May , on the stage of the church of San Francesco , she will propose a portrait in verse and in music of the poet Patrizia Cavalli, accompanied by the live music of the composer and multi-instrumentalist Diana Tejera . Iaia Forte had the privilege of personally meeting Patrizia Cavalli, who passed away in 2022, during rehearsals for Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and a deep friendship was immediately born between the two. “Since she's been gone – says the actress – I've been rereading her poems almost every day: it seems to me that they make her reappear in me, they make me feel like I'm still in her company. That's why with Diana we thought of a show about her. Because through her theater and poetry we seem to recall her to us, to rediscover her, to recreate that timeless time that her presence gave us." A recital that borrows its title from Cavalli's latest collection, Wonderful Life , which perfectly restores the poet's creative and visionary universe.
