Saturday 16 Luigi Boccherini will be highlighted in the relationships he had with the Court of Spain. With the performance of the music that was played at the Court of Madrid by a quintet, the musicologist and music historian Gabriella Biagi Ravenni, together with the president of the Boccherini Study Center, Marco Mangani, will talk about the musician and composer. On this occasion the dancers Romina Pidone and Alessandro Ciardini will wear dresses that are perfect reproductions of the original models, prepared by Margarita Martinez, costume designer and organizer of Napoleonic grand balls at an international level. The fandango, a popular dance, was in fact adopted by King Charles IV, father of Maria Luisa, as a moment of entertainment during the great court parties.
