An event that has animated the historic center for over 30 years, crossing generations of families and children. It is the Befana Festival in Piazza San Francesco, in the historic center of Lucca, scheduled on the day of the Epiphany (from 2.30 pm), and organized by the Popular Committee of San Francesco, with the contribution of the Municipality of Lucca and the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation of Lucca.

At 2.30pm Piazza San Francesco will also be animated by the descent of the Befana of the firefighters from the ladder truck, which this year will be decorated with a beautiful hot air balloon of balloons.

An event in which there will be music, the usual lottery and during which the Befana will make her appearance riding her broom, thanks to the involvement of the Lucca Fire Brigade. Socks and toys will also be delivered to patients in the pediatric department of the San Luca hospital and food parcels will be distributed to families experiencing economic difficulty. MORE INFO
