2024 is a year of anniversaries: 125 years since the birth of Duke Ellington, 50 years since his death, 70 years of RAI and 25 years of the Swingers Orchestra! he orchestra brings to the stage in the Ellington of the American prohibitionist period, who performed in a New York club at a very young age, cheering the hearts of the public in those difficult years.

The Front Line of the Swingers Orchestra is made up of musicians from the glorious RAI orchestra of Milan, including Rudy Migliardi, Emilio Soana and Paolo Barbieri, who accompanied the big names of jazz and great singers from all over the world with their music. Special mention to Gianluigi Trovesi, who was part of the RAI Big Band as first alto and first clarinet and who will perform together with the Swingers Orchestra to drag us directly into a 1930s jazz club!
