On the occasion of the Lucca Fashion Weekend an Artisan Market of silk artists in Via del Fosso will be organized.

Via dei Fossi, the ancient silk road, will bear the signature of Francesco Zavattari and Laura de Cesare. Here, silk will be the protagonist, the theme of the event, where a spatial installation curated by Francesco Zavattari will involve and envelop the historic street of Lucca in an intriguing canvas, to animate ancient abandoned spaces and give life to an interactive path where matter and light will converse in exemplary harmony. Zavattari will then perform an evocative performance during the opening ceremony of the event. Focus on craftsmanship and the mastery of the hands with the laboratory exhibition The Silk Road. Il Filaticcio  lucchese , where the artisan and weaver Laura de Cesare will carry out a live weaving of the filaticcio lucchese on a pedal loom, set up with local historical fabric.
