The aperitif Concert series is back for the Autumn at Teatro San Girolamo. The autumn season of the Aperitif Concerts returns with performances by young talents and classical repertoire.
This Sunday the series continues and is dedicated to duets for two violins in twentieth-century music, in which violinists Luca Celoni, Marina del Fava, Marco Foti, Matilde Silicani, Caterina Ginesi, Salvatore Nicotra and Sara Lobo Martinez will perform music by Béla Bartók, Dmitri Shostakovich (on piano, Franz Arrighini) and Luciano Berio.
The festival will conclude on Sunday 13 October at 11:30 a.m. with a concert featuring sopranos Angelica D’Agliano and Chiara Prucher, tenor Lorenzo del Panta and baritone Andrea Garvalis, accompanied on the piano by Gabriele Bascherini; the program includes music by Georg Friedrich Händel, Gioachino Rossini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, Vincenzo Lutti, Ambrois Thomas, and Jaques Offenbach.
An aperitif with wines offered by Tenuta del Buonamico in Montecarlo will be served at the end of the concerts. Single seat 5 euros. MORE INFO
